Solar in Spain - A Research Overview

THE GRID!
In today's post I wanted to take some time to provide an overview of the topics I researched while in Spain.

There were three main topics I researched. The first was the large deficit in Spain's electricity market. The second was the current state of residential solar industry and the future threats from the government. The third was the civil disobedience campaigns rallying around residential solar.

The topic I spent the most time on was the Spanish electricity market in part because gaining this understanding was essential to understand all major developments in Spain. While in Spain, I did a much better job of blogging, so have a full blog post describing the electricity tariff deficit in more detail.

Since I have detailed blog posts on all of these topics hyperlinked in this post, I am going to underwhelm on the details today!  If you're interested in any of these topics, click the link to read more!

I'm still in the overview stage of reevaluating my research, so am forgoing the details to cover more topics.

Scene from La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. The colors inside the church are breath taking, but my pictures of the exterior scenes somehow seem more powerful.
